Hello everyone!

This is Dr Hazal. And we are looking for 20 hair transplant patients that are willing to participate in a method development project at our clinic.

What is a method development project?
- We want to implement 1 of our treatments (exomine) as part of our standard aftercare routine. Therefore we need 20 pilot patients.

What does this mean?
- Every hair transplant patient that is suitable, will get an exomine treatment on month 2.

Does that mean you need to pay more for the extra treatment?
- No. This is an internal development project and the exomine treatment will be covered by us.

Do pilot patients get benefits?
- Yes there will be benefits for those patients as they are helping us improve ourselves about aftercare.

How can you take part in this?
- Please send an email to me directly at hazal@ferbu.no
We will make an interview to see if you are eligible and you will also learn about all the details during the interview.

Best Regards,

Hazal Ferbu

Just to be sure i understand, youre offering PRP and Exosome treatments at no extra cost to patients who book a hair transplant, right? If thats the case, how do you tell which results are from the transplant and which are from the PRP or Exosomes?
Also, since every patient has different donor area quality and hair characteristics, like thickness or texture, are you planning to work with patients who have similar hair loss patterns and hair types to keep the comparisons consistent?
Ive seen other clinics offer this aswell, but they stopped since the effects were minimal and expensive. A lot of harimill clinics in Turkey offer it for free aswell. Do you have any data on how not having these treatments will affect the growth of a transplant? how big is the difference between a traditntal transplant with no prp and exo, compared to one with them. Most of the hairmills mention the effects are minimal.

I always give PRP during the hair transplant if the patient is good. Exosome treatment is something completely different :) And in this internal project, the exomine treatment will be given after 2 months to boost the growth.
This is just for me to have some pilot patients so I can understand if I should include exomine as a regular aftercare or not. And legally, I cannot share here how we will be accepting patients for this project.. Feel free to contact directly and ask :)
Also yes, a lot of clinics are offering PRP as their regular aftercare part, all around the world. But you cannot confuse the results from PRP or exosome treatments with a hair transplant. Prp, exosomes, stemcell, they will never miraculously structure new hair roots for you to grow hair. These are treatments to keep your hair roots strong and healthy.

Exosomes and prp are very different things. I personally like the effect of exosome on my hair transplant patients so far. But I need more patients to see (keep in mind that I usually don't prescribe finasteride after a hair transplant). Direct PRP is mainly for your first healing part and I find it very helpful as blood circulation support for especially the first 14 days which are extremely important.

I hope I could answer your questions. If there is anything missing just let me know.
